BERGAMOT

Product Information and Traditional & Alternative Uses:

This undiluted, wild-crafted essential oil is created from the peel of the Bergamot citrus fruit. In traditional Chinese medicine, it has a long history of being used to help the flow of vital energy primarily for the proper functioning of the digestive system. When used as a flavouring agent, it offers many digestive benefits and is used with black tea commonly called Earl Grey tea.

Primary Use – Digestive & Vermifuge*:

KILLS INTESTINAL WORMS: Take one drop orally. Take up to 3 times daily. For enhanced benefit use with Aeroma

Bergamot and Loyol Tickaboo. Apply 2-3 drops of Aeroma bergamot to the abdomen area 2-3 times throughout the day (caution bergamot is photosensitive and may cause a burn when exposed skin . When bergamot is exposed to direct sunlight).

DIGESTIVE AID: Add one drop to your food when cooking, or add one drop to 8oz of water and drink during your meal.

LOWER CHOLESTEROL: Dilute one drop with one drop of carrier oil. Take up to 3 times daily.

EUCALYPTUS

Eucalyptus is native to Australia and over the past few centuries has migrated to other parts of the world including, Europe and South Africa.

The numerous health benefits of eucalyptus oil have attracted the attention of the entire world.  Eucalyptus is one of the most research essential oils, and is considered for its potential positive benefit on a broad range of concerns ranging from everything such as reducing inflammation and pain to killing leukaemia cells !

Primary Action – Decongestant & Expectorant*:

DECONGESTANT/EXPECTORANT/WHOOPING COUGH/ASTHMA:

Option 1: Add 5 to 15 drops to a diffuser and diffuse throughout the day.

Option 2: Apply 2-3 drops to your chest.

Option 3: Make a decongestant chest balm.: Add 1/4 cup of coconut oil and two tsp of grated beeswax to a double boiler. Heat just until they are melted and incorporated together. Allow 2-3 minutes to cool then add 20 drops

Aeroma Breathe, 8 drops Aeroma Eucalyptus, and 8 drops Aeroma rosemary. Allow cooling then apply as needed to the chest area.

ACNE:  Apply to the end of a Q-Tip then apply to affected area.

Many of these uses are based off of traditional use and may not have significant evidence to prove their effectiveness. More evidence may be needed to rate the effectiveness for these uses.

FRANKINCENSE

Expertly harvested from the resin of wild-crafted trees, the constituents of this essential oil are best known for their influence on the respiratory system and the soothing of emotions. Used aromatically and topically it has a beneficial impact on strained mental capacity and emotions.  As well as a powerful natural antibiotic that can be used in place of potentially dangerous synthetic options.

Primary Action – Relaxing & Detox*:

ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT:  Place 2 oz of shea butter in a double boiler and allow it to melt. Remove from heat for 3-4 minutes and mix in the essential oil , Add ten drops frankincense, ten drops lavender, five drops geranium, 3 drops Yuzu. Allow to cool, store in a cool dark place until ready to use.

COLD & FLU: Apply 2-3 drops to the bottom of your feet and your chest. Add five drops to diffuser or 10-15 drops to diffuser and diffuse throughout the day.

ARTHRITIS PAIN: Add five drops of frankincense and birch with one drop each of, ginger and balsam fir. Add 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne powder with ten drops avocado oil Apply to area of pain.

GRAPEFRUIT

Product Information and Traditional & Alternative Uses:

This intoxicating scent cultured from the peels of the grapefruit hold a regenerative process that encourages the release of toxins that would normally go into storage throughout the body, including cellulite, and makes it an excellent diuretic that also stabilises the blood by ensuring it’s not too thin. Improved cardiovascular health and mood elevation and better brain functionality are common side effects of its use.

Primary Use – Toning & Freshening*:

AIR FRESHENER:  Use in a diffuser throughout the day. Add a few drops to vacuum cleaner’s filter.

ACNE AND OILY SKIN:  Add 10 drops to a spray bottle after washing your face spritz you face and let air dry.

TONING SKIN:  Combine 1/8 cup of camelina oil with 1/8 cup of Avocado oil and 1/4 cup grated beeswax. Place in jar and add to a sauce pan with 4 centimetres  of water over medium heat until beeswax resolves remove from heat. Immediately Add 25 drops of orange. Apply as needed throughout the day.

HANGOVER RELIEF:  Apply 2 drops to skin over the kidney and 2 drops to the throat. Add to a diffuser and diffuser throughout the day.

LAVENDER

Lavender, one of the most used essential oil in the world.

Product Information and Traditional & Alternative Uses:

Lavender is more popularly used as an aromatic oil for aromatherapy but there are many strong and promising benefits for the use of lavender as a dietary aid. For instance, researchers discovered that lavender essential oil helps your body produce three of your bodies primary antioxidants, glutathione, catalase, and SOD within 22 hours of using lavender essential oil!

Primary Use – Food Additive & Detox*: 

REDUCE NAUSEA:  1 drops by mouth daily or as needed

DETOX:  Apply 1-2 drops to 8 oz of water.

TEETH WHITENER:  Mix lemon essential oil, baking soda and coconut oil and rub on your teeth for 2 minutes and then rinse.

FOOD ADDITIVE:  1 drop of a citrus oil can substitute for one tsp. of citrus zest. If the recipe calls for the zest from 1 citrus fruit, you can use 8–14 drops of the citrus essential oil instead.

LEMONGRASS

Lemongrass is also soothing to the entire body system thanks to naturally occurring analgesic properties. This regenerative action extends to the skin in the form of strong antibacterial action.

Primary Action – Muscle Pain, Nausea & Fungus*:

TENDONS/MUSCULOSKELETAL PAIN: Dilute in a 1:1 ratio and apply to the area of discomfort.

COMMON COLD/EXHAUSTION/HYPERTENSION: Add 3-5 drops to the bottom of the feet and around the prostate. Or add to diffuser and diffuse throughout the day

WARTS: Skin sensitivity can be standard may want to start with a dilution of lemongrass and reduce the amount of carrier oil as you determine your body sensitivity. Place a Band-Aid over the wart and put one drop underneath the Band-Aid a few times through the day. This may need to repeated over several days.

Lemongrass may stain the skin yellow after repeated use. The staining will go away after a few days.

STOMACHACHE:  Apply 2-3 drops to the abdomen area and massage in a clockwise motion.

PATCHOULI

Patchouli Oil is traditionally known for its calming effects on your nervous system, helping to ease tension and anxiety and provide a grounding and balancing effect on your emotions.

Nourishing and moisturising:  Patchouli Essential Oil is also great for nourishing and moisturising if you have dry or irritated skin.

Wrinkles: It helps smooth out wrinkles, blemishes and small imperfections. Plus , it has known deodorising properties.

Patchouli Essential Oil blends well with: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh, Nerolina and Sandalwood essential oils.

Directions for Use:

Diffusion: Add a few drops of Patchouli Oil to your Aromatherapy Diffuser, Car Diffuser, or Diffuser Necklace for a grounding and balancing atmosphere.

Topical Use: Add Patchouli Oil to your carrier oil of choice at a 2-4% dilution and apply topically as a skin serum or massage oil. For facial application, we recommend a 1% dilution.

Safety: Not to be Taken. Possible skin sensitivity – dilute prior to topical application. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. Essential Oils are highly concentrated and powerful oils, and have the ability to cause serious harm if ingested without the necessary expertise required – for this reason, ingestion of essential oils is NOT recommended for the general public.

PEPPERMINT

Product Information and Traditional & Alternative Uses*:

The proven benefits of using peppermint make it the go-to essential oil for headaches. Its constituents also soothe feelings of nausea and help restore a healthy appetite after illness. It is also known to enhance brain functionality, eliminate mid-day sluggishness and enable a better level of alertness.

Primary Use – Digestive Support:

IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME: Add two drops in a capsule with two drops of a carrier twice daily or as needed.

REDUCES BAD BREATHE:  Add 3-4 drops to 8oz of water and use as a gargle. Gargle for 30-45 seconds.Or place one drop under the tongue followed with a glass of water.

TEETHING:  Mix  peppermint oil with a carrier oil at a 1:1 ratio and rub on the gum area.

HEADACHE:  Mix Add 1-2 drops of peppermint to 1-2 teaspoons of honey. Add honey and peppermint mixture to 8 oz of water. Allow time for it to dissolve. Drink slowly over 5-10 minutes while inhaling the aroma of the tea. Enhance by putting 1-2 drops of peppermint behind your ears, back of the neck, and temples.

ROSEMARY

Product Information and Traditional & Alternative Uses*:

Rosemary is one of the most potent essential oils on the planet. Paracelsus, a renowned German-Swiss physician, valued rosemary oil because of its ability to strengthen the entire body. He believed that rosemary oil had the capacity to heal delicate organs such as the liver, brain, and heart.

Anciently, the Romans gave particular importance to the rosemary plant and used it frequently in religious ceremonies.

VAGINAL INFECTION:  Mix 6 drops Tea Tree with three drops lavender in 1 tablespoon of avocado oil. Apply this mix on the vaginal areas to relieve itching and reduce infection. Repeat twice daily or as needed.

YLANG YLANG OIL BENEFIT*

Today, Ylang Ylang Oil continues to be used for its health-enhancing characteristics.
